Avocado Tallow Body Butter (8 oz)

Rich, whipped moisture for dry skin from head to toe

Mom’s Avocado Tallow Body Butter blends grass-fed beef tallow with avocado oil into a thick, whipped butter for the places that get driest: elbows, knees, heels, hands and shins. It leaves skin feeling soft and smooth, with a healthy-looking glow. Made in small batches in New Jersey.

Choose Unscented, or Lavender & Tea Tree for a calm, clean scent from essential oils.

What's inside

Grass-Fed Beef Tallow: rich in fatty acids that help hold in moisture and leave skin feeling soft.

Avocado Oil: a fatty-acid-rich plant oil that helps skin feel smooth and supple.

Lavender and Tea Tree Oils (scented version): give the butter its relaxing, fresh scent.

How to use

After bathing: apply to clean, slightly damp skin, or whenever skin feels dry.

Massage in: work it into dry areas such as elbows, knees and heels. A little goes a long way.

Let it absorb: give it a minute before dressing.

FAQ

Does it smell like beef?
No. Our tallow is carefully rendered, so the Unscented version smells like very little. The scented version smells of lavender and tea tree. More in Does Tallow Skincare Smell?

Is it greasy?
It's rich, because it's a body butter, but whipping makes it light to spread. Use a small amount and massage it in; any shine fades within a few minutes. See Whipped Tallow vs Tallow Balm for how whipped textures feel.

Can I use it on my face?
It's made for the body. For your face, our Luxe Hydration Tallow Face Cream or Cloud Whipped Tallow Face Cream is a better fit. Not sure which? Try the free 10-second Skin Scan.

Will it melt in shipping?
Tallow softens in heat. If it arrives soft or settles in the jar, it works just the same; it may simply lose some of its whipped fluff. Store it somewhere cool and dark.

How long does an 8 oz jar last?
Used daily on dry areas, most people get several weeks to a couple of months. Used all over after every shower, it goes faster.
